A Vintage Christmas Wreath’s New Life

A couple weeks ago, I found a great old plastic wreath at a thrift shop. It was sort of an olive green (which either was intentional because of the era it was made in or happened because of it’s age), it had a random collection of plastic pieces attached to it and it had what was once a cute flocked red bow at the top. This made for quite the ugly wreath. But, of course, being who I am, I saw it’s potential instead of it’s reality. With the help of a couple of vintage Christmas finds, some choice new Christmas picks, some leftover ball ornaments from my Christmas tree, a spool of green florist’s wire and a pair of pliers… I gave the ugly wreath a new life. Watch it’s transformation!

And here’s the before and after, side-by-side:

Not too shabby, eh?
