The Impossible (and lacy) Find

Last weekend I found the impossible find (which is much like the impossible dream, but different. Or maybe it’s the same when you’re a vintage collector and estate sale junky…) I have this vintage lingerie collection that includes this little ruby number:

Fuschia and Lace

Now, the piece I found is not something I was looking for; it’s actually something I didn’t even know existed! I was at a crazy clothing sale and looking through a big bucket of wrinkled vintage satin and lace, I saw a color and lace that I recognized. I pulled out the wrinkled ruby and lace and was sure immediately that it matched the set I had at home. I got the piece for quite a steal and took it home to double check. Sure enough, this little cover up matches a lingerie set that I have in my collection.

Cover Up 2

This crazy little piece is now in my collection and fits me just as well! So pleased!
